Actually a drawing I did a few weeks ago and meant to color. Right now it's a WIP I guess, though I don't know if I'll put more effort into it not.....
More color and better composition to come... pencil, micron, prisma marker and photoshop
Actually, I really wanted to draw a cowboy gun, like a colt single action army, at first, but couldn't find good ref at that angle. the first version of this drawing I did actually had that one, but the perspective was awful - over foreshortened. I decided flattening it out would be better and went with an easier to draw gun. You probably noticed that holster and belt don't belong with that gun. It's because I traced the original drawing (which I'll put up in scraps later) and then inked it anew, fixing the arms and gun. I forgot about the holster though. aw well. I thought future-armor and a cowboy gun would be a cool look...
Funny thing is, Meeko brought home a new magazine with the pictures I needed just a couple days later...
naw, it's meant to be future-armor of some sort. I imagine most of it feeling to the touch like something between lycra spandex and foam rubber. It probably expands considerably in response to sudden impacts, being pierced, etc.... I was going for some anachro-fun with the cowboy holster, and initially a cowboy gun which I nixed on a redraw because I couldn't get happy with it at that angle....

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
